ccc1942 2 days ago The generation younger than Gen Z have only known smart phones., and they're often the new pacifier for toddlers. I saw a kid at target the other day in diapers operating an iPhone like he worked for Apple tech support. Meanwhile, he still its himself. 88 Reply Share

Reply Share 3.3k Kitty PooDollFace 2 days ago I'm a millennial back in community college... the amount of kids who walk into class with headphones on or ear buds in and never take them off/out is amazing to me. It's college, so professors don't do anything. But holy what is that? 981 Reply Share

NoirLuvve 2 days ago . ksake. I'm an elder Gen Z/Baby Millennial and this makes me INSANE. I train people 16 to 21 at my job. They straight up don't understand that if you're on the sales floor, TAKE OFF YOUR HEADPHONES. You have to work with customers! Or hear the phone ring! Or, here's an insane thought, HEAR PEOPLE TALK. I'd say I have this fight in about 1 in 4 Gen Zrs I work with. 341 Reply Share ...

esoteric_enigma. 2 days ago I work in higher education now and the lack of independence in students keeps getting worse and worse. Every year the number of emails and calls we all get from parents keeps increasing. In my last meeting, our vice provost basically said we're switching to a philosophy of bringing our services to the students because they are no longer independent enough to come to us. 1.6k Reply Share

TBoneUs 2 days ago This 1000%. It's actually a terrifying epidemic. I am a PCP and have a big gen z patient population. The amount of crippling anxiety is staggering. Well over half the Gen Z patients I see. It's not just that they are clinically anxious, it seems to really be impacting their ability to function and grow. 136 Reply Share

DarkPumpernickel · 2 days ago Yeah, it's funny, because they are so much more open about things like mental illness. They can be very accepting of a lot of differences and accommodations, and they are super quick to point out bullying and harassment, when it's directed at them, but they are so freaking mean to everyone else. They don't even see that they are bullies themselves. I mean I guess that's not limited to one generation. Lots of people are like that. You'd just think that as open and ac
